Enyimba beat Abia Warriors 1-0 in fierce clash

Enyimba International completed double over Abia Warriors with a 1-0 victory in the second fixture of the season played at the Okigwe township Stadium in Imo on Thursday.

Abia Warriors almost equalised with the last kick of the game when defender Adekunle Adeleke beat John Noble from inside the box , but his effort was cleared by Timothy Danladi on the line.

The victory moved the People’s Elephants to fifth position on the log with 48 points.
